The developers of The Day Before presented a ten-minute gameplay footage from the game to convince unbelievers that the project is not a hoax. Don’t expect a ton of action, though.

Unofficial information regarding the presentation of gameplay from The Day Before turned out to be true. Developers from Fntastic initially planned to release a ten-minute gameplay back in January, but this didn’t happen due to problems related – allegedly – to the game’s trademark rights. Eventually, although delayed, they decided to show this footage – you can see it below.

Although the video is quite long, it doesn’t show anything special. In addition to the character shooting zombies, we see a sizable segment with crafting, as well as the customization of weapons. There was definitely more going on in the clip from April 2021 (which you can watch here).

Many people in the comments under the footage were not convinced about the credibility of this gameplay. One can get such an impression by, for example, the lack of a player’s life bar, active target or other HUD elements.

On Fntastic‘s channel on YouTube, a short video was also made available today, showing a different part of the gameplay, with a different protagonist (below) – and a view of the person playing it on a PC.

Recall that there has been a lot of fuss recently about The Day Before. Not only that, the developers once again decided to delay the game’s release, in addition, the game has been pulled from Steam. The moderator of the game’s Discord server himself admitted that he had doubts about its existence.

The Day Before is scheduled to come out on November 10 on PC, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S console versions also planned.

Fntastic is a Russian studio. The company was originally founded in Yakutia. Later, the developers moved to Singapore. They are assisted in the work by people from different parts of the world (such as the Netherlands and Thailand). Publisher of The Day Before, MyTona, also comes from Russia. Its headquarters are currently in New Zealand, and it additionally has offices in Singapore, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia and Serbia. Founded in 2012, the company develops and publishes games.
