If you have a lot of money, buy the cheapest items from suppliers
This advice may seem strange, however, there is a hidden meaning in it. The moment you buy all the cheap items from suppliers, loot boxes will start spawning much more expensive items. You then eliminate the chance of getting something cheap, as you will only get what you don’t currently have.
Use remote stun guns
These can be picked up by guards patrolling the area. When this happens, detonate the stun gun to get a kill. This trick is very useful, especially when you know that your target is a guard.
You can easily avoid fighting your opponents
The moment you are detected by opponents, it is a good idea to escape to a safe place and then change your clothes. Occasionally, you can also hide in a crate. These methods will only work if none of the opponents have seen you, so make sure you are not in their field of vision.
You can pause your game
Although players need to be hooked up to the network to play the freelancer mode, this doesn’t mean that the game can’t be paused. There is such an option, and if you need time to think about your next move, it is worth taking advantage of it.
It should be noted that in Freelancer mode players cannot save their game. However, there is a glitch (it may be patched in the near future) that enables you to avoid losing your equipment and move to your hideout. All you have to do is disconnect your Internet and then return to the menu and reconnect by selecting the “online” option. Remember, however, that this conflicts with the premise and the mode itself, so we do not recommend using it.
Before firing up the freelancer mode, play every story map
Freelancer was created for players who have spent a considerable amount of time getting to know the game, which means getting familiar with the inaccessible areas and the map layout itself. If you are familiar with this, it will come with much greater ease to carry out jobs in this mode.
Experience points in Mastery system
For each mission you undertake – even the unsuccessful one – you will receive some XP. The better you have done your task, the more experience you will receive. For these you will earn mastery levels. They will enable you to unlock new weapons, decorations and even rooms in your hideout.
Earn Merces
This is a currency that your Agent 47 will earn in various ways, such as for completing Payout or Prestige Objectives, eliminating the Couriers during missions, or for opening safes. Among other things, this money is needed to upgrade your armory with more weapons.
Think through which weapons you want to take with you
Before embarking on each mission, you’ll need to take a particular piece of equipment with you as you approach the weapon wall. The problem is that you won’t be able to take all the weapons. Each of them has its gear capacity score. If you exceed the maximum level, you will not be able to start the mission. Therefore, plan well what equipment you will find most useful in the upcoming assignment.
